Harry Potter is NOT EVIL
So my schedual this semester is totally insane. I have eight hours of lectures on tuesdays and thursdays, and two hours of lectures on Fridays, complete with an hour japanese lab. There are no classes mondays or wenesdays for me. INSANE.
I feel like I am going to cry but no, I am too brave!
Also, I had a conversation with a really, really strange girl about why HARRY POTTER IS NOT SATANIC. Hahaha. The really amusing thing is that the school makes her read it ^_^.
"I'm and English and History major and I believe that art and literature are WRONG AND BAD".
Or something to that effect.
Then, when I say it's better than TV for children, she says that I am contradicting myself in saying that there is value in art. WTF? (twilight zone music). Here is my rant: TV did not mess up society. A messed up society created TV. The cycle ensues. TV is not Good. But, unless you are Amish, it is unavoidable. (Further clarification: I WATCH TV. GOD STILL LOVES ME. I'm pretty sure God still loves JK Rowling, too.)
Seriously, people. GET OVER IT. [After we burn the books, let's burn the witches - that'll show them about God's love!]
