My birthday

Yesterday was my birthday. It was a good day to start being twenty, even if being twenty seems scary.

I didn't really have anything to do at school, so I went to my women's studies class, and watched a movie. Then, I talked with some people I knew. They wished me "Happy Birthday".

Then, I went to the Chapel, and had tea with YoungPastor from MyChurch. He is nice but we do not have the same political views at all. Discouraged, I left, wondering if I am morally corrupt- boo, Mister Haper!

I came back in a half hour to have lunch with Mr.L and a few friends. One of them is very naive, and she made me feel icky about my scars. She does not know I am striped up and down as if ribbons twine me. She was laughing about a "psychotic kid she has to work with". I could hear the disgust in her voice. She was laughing while she mimed cutting her wrists. I felt an inch high. I was tempted to take off my sweater and smile sweetly. I didn't. I looked at my tea and felt nauseated.

But then she shushed up, and I got the best birthday gift ever. Mrs L -- a wise, loving woman - gave me a pin that looks like a sword that comes in and out of sheath. It is on a chain and it is silver, and very ornatley made with fine webbing. It is slightly curved. Her greeat uncle/granfather got it in cambodia/thailand or china. It looks like cambodia, though. As she is fifty (shhh), it is colonial-ish. It came from her Mother's jewlery box.

Then me and about ten girls and my one male room-mate went to moxies and had some food and many drinks. I got a lot of nice gifts. I got: From Darcy - a big knitting book, a bookmark, and a manga, From
Kimmi- lipstick klenex, and batman cards, Rebecca- A chocolate fondue
pot and CHOCOLATE, Florence got me a lovely stuffed frog nammed Jimmy,
A lovley letter from Priscilla, A cup, tea, and cocolate from Jen,
Skittles and scratches from Josh, Sonia got me super sexy stripey
panties and Christie got me drunk ;).

Sooo.. we greatly made ruckuses at Moxies. And ate free deserts. And drank. And then I came home.

I don't get hung over, but I don't sleep well. The only way I can tell I've drank last night is that my tummy is upset and I've no makeup on this morning.

So..yeah. Retreating I go this weekend. No one at the resturant would believe us that we were going to a Christian camp this weekend ^_^
